AFS

The AFS-System is the innovative maintenance support for industrial components.
As it was developed and adapted for the particular needs of the offshore wind energy market, AFS collects and documents the component-specific lifespan record of construction parts.

The foundation of the AFS-System is the idea of a digital identification plate on the basis of RFID-Technology. Integrated into various parts it can store all common data of an identification plate. Furthermore the data of the component-specific life cycle are stored directly with the component. These data on the digital identification plate are identified and modified by means of a Handheld computer, which functions as an interface between AFS-Servers and the maintenance technicians.

Thanks to these innovations AFS offers a great cost-efficiency. Maintenance reports are generated and stored automatically, thus servicing teams can be planned more efficiently.

The integrated qualification management also allows a specific allocation of trained service personnel. Planning and assigning of maintenance orders can easily be done by the service management on a browserbased interface.

Preparation times will decrease because technical teams equipped with a Handheld will have all lists and documentations they might need automatically ready at their disposal.

Inspection schedules will be paperless in the shape of check lists on the Handheld. After maintenance work is done these schedules will be synchronized and stored in the AFS-Server.
